Month-to-Month Packages: All you need to know

In October, we started offering month-to-month (M2M) packages as part of a pilot project in Canada. We now want to share more insights about it with you to better support our students.

Why the package? Some customers are interested in GoStudent services, but nervous or unwilling to commit to a long-term subscription. The M2M option offers monthly auto-renewal packages with the option to stop or upgrade their package at any time. With this flexible option, clients can now try GoStudent and feel comfortable with the tutor before committing to a longer package.

What's in for you? We understand that consistency in schedule and number of students may be a priority for you. At the end of the trial session, we recommend that you provide a quick feedback to the student and explain how the benefits of consistent tutoring can help address their learning gaps. It's important that students and family understand the benefits of high-dose and long-term tutoring from the start. If the trial session is successful, our sales team will let you know if the client has opted for a M2M package.

What happens after? We strongly believe that long-term packages allow for the student to have the continuity and commitment needed to produce strong results. Our customer success team has a feedback call with the client close to the renewal date (at day 25-30). In this call, the Educational Advisor discusses the learning goals and progress to the moment, and offers customers the option to upgrade to a subscription and/or to increase the number of monthly sessions.

What can you do? Again, it's important to reinforce to the student that repetition and consistency are key in achieving a substantial and positive impact on academic performance. You know better than anyone else what your student needs and how to best support them. With that, just make sure to share your educational expertise and recommendation with your student.
